Avon’s Background:  Licensed in 1977, I have been working with sellers, buyers and investors specializing in residential real estate.  Prior to being licensed, I worked as a Senior Administrative Specialist for IBM Corporation for 13 years. 

I took numerous classes in marketing, investment, appraisal, etc. and obtained my Broker’s license in 1980.  I tried the management end for 3 years and decided that I really enjoyed working directly with sellers and buyers helping them find their dream home.  I love the excitement of helping 1st-time home buyers! 

Moving from Iowa, we have lived in the Sacramento area since 1964.  We picked the Folsom area to raise our five children – (all graduated from Folsom High).  We were there for 13 years.  Since I was in real estate, I wanted  to practice buying and selling, so we lived for a year in Orangevale and then moved to Fair Oaks where we lived for 25 years.  Currently, we live in Roseville.

I love traveling, reading, working crossword puzzles, playing golf (whenever I can), and working out regularly.  Of course, my passion is putting buyers and sellers together for a happy closing!  Experience Does Matter!!
